Chapter 61.1, including 1939 Directory
Arthur and Alice Wheaver had two children: Terry had a younger sister.
She was born in 1915, christened Kathleen Elise Wheaver, and promptly renamed Stephanie (Steph) upon her father’s return from the war. She and Terry spent a lot of time together in childhood, with their father involved in charitable work supporting war orphans, and their mother having died young.
She married John Lewis Walker (1910-1980) in Sutton Coldfield in 1938. His father has been killed in WWI.

Timmy died in 1947. The couple had two later children.
I got to know Steph a bit in later life, and visited her once in Knutsford, when my children were very young. She used to tell me stories about Granny James and her own father. She died in 2009.
