Chapter 60.9

Alfred and Jane Beale had nine children, all born in Moulmein, bar the youngest two, who were born in Rangoon. Their children are Olive’s siblings and first cousins.

      • Married William Larroder Bryan (1877-1943) in Rangoon in 1904. He was the proprietor of a drilling company.

        • Noreen Violet Bryan (1908-1980)
      • The couple escaped Burma in WWII. They are recorded as arriving on 12 April 1942. He was dead in just over a year. Noreen is recorded as having arrived on 26 February 1942.
    • Harold Wilfred Beale (1936-1936). Studied in England – was boarding in Stroud Green, London in 1911. Born and died in Rangoon.
    • Bertram Lionel Beale (1884). Born in Rangoon; there is a record of residence at Bucklands, Broom Road, Teddington in 1898; may have died in England.
